1. Master's Program in Strategic Design, Department of Design

Completion requirements

Students must be enrolled in a master’s course for at least two years, acquire at least 40 credits in the prescribed subjects, receive the necessary research guidance, submit a master’s thesis or master’s project (master’s work), and pass the thesis defense and final examination(s). However, stu-dents who have made outstanding achievements may shorten their period of study to one year on the assumption that they will advance to the doctoral course.

Students may take up to 6 credits of elective courses in other graduate schools if their research advisor deems it necessary.

2. Doctoral Course in Department of Design(the doctoral course does not belong to any particular course)

As shown in the diagram below, students must be enrolled in the doctoral course for the specified period, acquire 10 or more credits in the prescribed subjects, receive the necessary research guidance, and pass the doctoral dissertation defense and their final examination(s). However, the period of study may be shortened for those who have made outstanding achievements.
