Project

Design brings problem solving to clinical sites and dramatically improves the quality of medical care, but educational programs that combine both the academic fields of medicine and design are limited. In this project, Kyushu University’s Graduate School of Design, Graduate School of Medicine, and University Hospital are collaborating to develop and demonstrate a problem-solving educational program in the medical field. By clarifying the quality of the ideas generated and their educational effectiveness, while systematizing them as educational methods, we will build a continuous system for solving medical issues and contribute to medical safety. This project will also promote work style reform for medical professionals and improve patients’ quality of life.
