Based on the signing of an academic and student exchange agreement with National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan in June 2017, we are conducting a joint design workshop with the broad theme of “”IoT Social Innovation Design in Asia”” as part of the agreement.
Specifically, with a focus on aging populations with low birthrates, one of the global social issues, the workshop will focus on “Quality of Life for the Older People” in FY 2018, “”Design for Convivial Communities”” in FY 2019, “Design for Healthy City” in FY 2020, and “Design for In FY2021, we have set the theme of “The New Normal: Design for Well-being,” and with the cooperation of local residents and professors from within and outside the department, we are devising services that utilize IoT while mutually understanding the cultures and customs of both countries.
