  • Computer Graphics Design

I have been involved in the design and production of digital content using computer graphics for six years in the private sector. In this field, there are more and more elements to be solved and researched, such as data construction methods and visual expressions for communication in the recent DX environment. I will conduct research on these various necessary elements and develop them into actual production. Currently, I am conducting research and education mainly in the fields of serious game design, media art, and animation, while also beginning to focus on social collaboration, including business.

Graduate school is a two-year period in which students develop the research, production, and design skills for creating things and places that they acquired during their undergraduate years. The Design Strategy major is being integrated with the Expressive disciplinary areas of the Faculty of Design, and provides education that adds management, brand, and business elements necessary for society. In the SD course, the collaboration with organizations outside of the Faculty of Design, such as QBS and QREC, makes the social implementation aspects, such as business, more concrete and pronounced. Ideally, through the SD Course, students will not only hone their design skills, but also acquire the ability to apply the products and services they create in the real world. This entails the ability to continue one’s own design activities independently after graduation. In addition, I would like the students to use this period to determine their background and orientation, such as whether they want to become a superhero who does everything by themselves, or whether they wish to find a colleague with whom they can share roles and work together to improve their communication skills.
